Kupar Names New Compliance Manager

Lisa and Dirk Kupar, who have helped to recruit more than 10,000 drivers through their Belleville-based company, Kupar, are pleased to announce the promotion of Teri Wood to the company’s Compliance Manager.

In her new role, Wood will work closely with trucking companies across the United States and Canada to ensure drivers remain compliant, with her dedicated team acting as an extension of compliance and safety departments.

World-class customer service is important to Wood, who first began her career with the Kupar’s sister company, TruckRight, in 2016.

Since then, her role has continued to evolve, and she has gained valuable experience in various other departments, including sales, support, and recruiting. During her tenure here, Wood has implemented protocols that have improved efficiency and has frequently been recognized for outstanding achievement.

Wood thus brings a wealth of experience to the newly-formed Compliance team, and the Kupars are thrilled about her new position at the company.

“Teri is a great fit for this role, says Dirk Kupar, CEO. “Her dedication to detail and client relationships has been truly impressive, and Lisa and I have no doubt in our minds that she will succeed in this new position.”

Travis Kupar, Director of HR, says Wood is an ideal candidate for this new position because she’s organized and thorough, and has a keen eye for ensuring compliance and safety. “I am happy to announce Teri’s promotion because she is an excellent team player that leads by example, and her analytical nature will help ensure our company’s overall success and continued growth.”

“It feels great,” says Wood of her new role. “I appreciate all the support my peers and co-workers give and to have this opportunity just feels amazing.”

Kupar is a family-owned and operated truck driver recruitment and compliance company.

Operating since 1994, Kupar takes pride in the service it provides. Their commitment to high standards has made the company a recognized leader in the trucking industry.
